BANDA ACEH: Ministry of Resettlement and Regional Infrastructure sent 100 water trucks, 90 tons of diesel fuel and other assistance to help refugees in 15 refugee camps in the province.

SOUTH ACEH: A alleged member of GAM, Amiruddin, was killed when TNI raided Babat village in North Kluet district.

NORTH ACEH: TNI seized 111 rounds of ammunition after a gunfight with GAM at Alue Seukee Teupin Reuseb village, Sawang district.

PIDIE: Two more school buildings burned. TNI blamed GAM.

BIREUEN: Hundreds of residents in Bireuen regency flocked to district offices to get new ID cards.

ACEH BESAR: Aceh Besar police arrested alleged GAM member Mustafa, 22, who they say was involved in attacking the Leupung police subprecinct headquarters on Aug. 17, 2000.
