Bali Regional Police Chief Irjen Daniel Adityajaya personally led a cross‑sector coordination meeting for Ketupat Agung 2026. The meeting discussed security and tolerance ahead of Nyepi and Idul Fitri.

The coordination meeting was held at the Rupatama Building of the Bali Regional Police, on Thursday, 5 March 2026, involving various elements of Bali’s Forkopimda to strengthen synergy in maintaining public security and order in Bali.

The meeting was conducted as a strategic step in facing Nyepi Day of the Saka year 1948 and Idul Fitri 1447 Hijriah in 2026, whose implementations occur within a closely spaced time frame, requiring maximum security readiness.

In his address, Bali Police Chief Irjen Daniel Adityajaya emphasised the importance of maintaining harmony and religious tolerance on the Island of the Gods. He urged all present to continue strengthening collaboration to keep Bali safe and peaceful.

“Let us safeguard Bali together as a shared home that upholds tolerance and harmony, to create security and comfort for all communities,” said the Bali Police Chief.

After the Chief’s remarks, the meeting continued with presentations by speakers on the plan for Ketupat Agung 2026. These included security strategies, traffic management patterns, and anticipatory steps against potential security and public order (kamtibmas) disturbances during the series of major religious celebrations.

The coordination meeting identified several key emphasis points, including prioritising tolerance and religious moderation in every community activity. Strengthening synergy among the TNI, Polri, local government, adat villages, and religious leaders; anticipating various kamtibmas disruptions, including community mobility and religious activities.

Through this cross‑sector coordination meeting, it is hoped that all stakeholders can unite their steps and strategies to ensure Nyepi and Idul Fitri celebrations in Bali are safe, orderly, and imbued with tolerance, thereby maintaining regional security stability.
