JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The Bakrie Group issuer, PT Bakrie & Brothers Tbk (BNBR), recorded revenue of Rp 1.13 trillion, a 19.02% increase compared to the same period last year, which stood at Rp 953.8 billion.

Positive performance was also evident in EBITDA, which jumped 252.43% to Rp 296.44 billion. Additionally, BNBR’s operating profit recorded a 240.03% surge, from Rp 62.33 billion to Rp 211.96 billion in the first quarter of 2026.

BNBR’s President Director and CEO, Anindya Novyan Bakrie, stated that this achievement demonstrates the company’s business resilience amid global dynamics.

“In the midst of extraordinary global economic turbulence, alhamdulillah BNBR continues to consistently show positive financial performance in the first three months of this year, with proud growth,” he said in an official statement on Thursday (30/4/2026).

He explained that the revenue increase was driven by contributions from several subsidiaries, particularly PT Cimanggis Cibitung Tollways (CCT), which contributed Rp 232.76 billion or about 20.5% of total consolidated revenue.

“The EBITDA increase also comes from CCT’s contribution of Rp 126.6 billion or 50.4% of BNBR’s total consolidated EBITDA,” he said.

“The operating profit increase is also supported by CCT’s contribution of Rp 128.6 billion or 77% of BNBR’s total consolidated operating profit,” Anindya added.

“In the first quarter of 2026, the BIIN Group showed a 274.6% revenue increase or Rp 207.6 billion, mainly from CCT’s revenue,” he said.

Additionally, the energy business unit PT Helio Synar Energi recorded a 35.1% revenue growth. Meanwhile, VKTR Group saw a 58.2% revenue increase, driven by performance surges at the holding level and subsidiary PT VKTR Sakti Industries.

In the manufacturing sector, PT Bakrie Autoparts also recorded revenue growth of Rp 13 billion or 6.3%, in line with rising demand for automotive components.

However, Roy acknowledged ongoing pressures in some business units, such as PT Bakrie Metal Industries. Nevertheless, this performance was partly offset by revenue growth at PT Southeast Asia Pipe Industries (SEAPI) from the non-oil and gas sector.

“We are optimistic that in the future, there will be revenue increases in the pipe and EPC sectors for oil and gas, in line with upcoming projects entering the first semester of 2026,” Roy concluded.
