Bakrie-Diafoil PET plant

JAKARTA (JP): PT Bakrie Diafoil, a joint venture between PT
Bakrie Kasei Corp. and Diafoil Hoechst of Japan, is building a
US$30 million polyethylene film plant, slated to come on stream
next March.

PT Bakrie Diafoil is 80-percent owned by Diafoil Hoescht and
20 percent by Bakrie Kasei, a joint venture company between
Indonesian Bakrie & Brothers and Kasei Corporation of Japan.

The plant project in Cileogon, West Java, is designed with an
annual production capacity of 4,200 tons, a company statement
said yesterday.(04)
