The presence of the B57+ Asia Pacific platform is projected to serve as an instrument for mitigating risks from global geopolitical tensions that disrupt distribution chains and business relations. This platform prioritises neutral cross-sector collaboration amid a world situation that is increasingly fragmented.

Liza Camelia Suryanata, Head of Research at Kiwoom Sekuritas Indonesia, explained that clarity in short- and medium-term strategies is essential for both public and private sectors. This emphasis aims to provide business actors with concrete guidance on available cooperation opportunities, as reported by Detik Finance.

“By prioritising mutually beneficial cooperation without intervention from political or religious interests, business activities are expected to run more stably,” said Liza Camelia Suryanata, Head of Research at Kiwoom Sekuritas Indonesia.

Liza assessed Indonesia’s position as a key point in B57+ Asia Pacific as highly relevant for strengthening business relations between countries in the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). This represents a strategic step for Indonesia acting as a key actor in the region.

“The presence of this platform has the potential to become a solution in dampening the impact of global geopolitical tensions; through neutral collaboration oriented towards mutual benefits, economic stability can be maintained,” stated Liza Camelia Suryanata, Head of Research at Kiwoom Sekuritas Indonesia.

Meanwhile, the establishment of the B57+ Asia Pacific Regional Chapter in February 2026 is a concrete effort to realise peace and equitable welfare. Arsjad Rasjid, General Chairman of B57+ Asia Pacific, emphasised the organisation’s role as a strategic partner amid global uncertainties.

“As a strategic partner, the B57+ Asia Pacific Regional Chapter plays a role in promoting trade among Islamic cooperation organisation partners through structured business networks, strengthening cross-country investments, and formulating concrete policies by bridging private sector priorities and government strategic agendas,” explained Arsjad Rasjid, General Chairman of B57+ Asia Pacific.

The designation of Indonesia as the coordination centre in the Asia Pacific region is based on its world’s largest Muslim population and significant economic influence. Indonesia consistently ranks in the top three in the Global Islamic Economy Indicator (GIEI).

The organisation’s work focuses on four concrete priorities for its members. These priorities include cross-border supply chain resilience, evidence-based regulatory reforms, expansion of the role of Islamic finance, and opening broader market access and capital for business actors.
