Burhanuddin stated that the Satgas PKH was formed to address various practices of forest area misuse that have caused national wealth leakage.
According to him, the state must be present firmly to ensure that natural resource management is orderly and prioritises the interests of the people.
“There must be no more leakage of national wealth that harms national interests and public welfare,” he said.
He also highlighted the control of natural resources by a handful of parties that ignores principles of justice for the wider community.

He stated that every natural resource controlled illegally must be returned to the state.

The Satgas PKH handed over Rp 10.27 trillion in funds from forest area regulation to the state through the Ministry of Finance.

In addition, the Satgas PKH also returned forest area land covering 2,373,171.75 hectares from the palm oil plantation and mining sectors.
Burhanuddin said that since its formation in February 2025, the Satgas PKH has successfully reclaimed 5.8 million hectares of forest areas in the palm oil sector and 12,371 hectares in the mining sector.
