Aspac nails 2nd league win

JAKARTA (JP): The third day of the Indonesian Basketball League's first round in Surabaya saw Aspac Jakarta nail down a 102-90 victory over Siliwangi Bandung on Thursday. It was Aspac's second win after beating Hadtex Bandung 77-68 on the first day.

Thursday also saw the 81-84 fall of Glory Semarang to Indonesia Muda Texmaco Jakarta, the 67-66 hairbreadth victory of Hadtex over Pelita Jaya and the 69-75 tumbling of the league's new kid Satria Muda Jakarta at the hands of Bima Sakti Nikko Steel Malang.

Today's fixtures: Indonesia Muda versus Pacific Surabaya, Satria Muda vs Aspac, Cahaya Lestari Sakti Surabaya vs Siliwangi, Bima Sakti vs Hadtex. The league's first round will end tomorrow. (arf)
