Artha Graha Peduli Brings Chillies, Eggs, Onions and Meat to Subsidised Market Ahead of Eid
Artha Graha Peduli (AGP) has continued its subsidised Cheap Market programme, which has been running since 11 December 2025 across various regions in Indonesia. The programme operates continuously in areas surrounding Artha Graha Network business units through the coverage areas of Artha Graha Peduli, as an effort to help the public obtain basic necessities at more affordable prices.
Entering the final week of Ramadan and approaching Eid al-Fitr, AGP has expanded the programme’s scope, particularly in the Jabodetabek region, by introducing additional strategic food commodities. Beyond subsidised basic commodity packages, AGP is also conducting market operations for various food items that typically experience price increases ahead of the religious holiday.
Through this initiative, the public can obtain frozen meat at Rp 70,000 per kilogram and chicken eggs at Rp 25,000 per kilogram through meat operation and market operation schemes that form part of AGP’s Cheap Market programme series.
These prices fall below government reference prices. It is hoped that these prices will help the public obtain food commodities at more affordable costs ahead of Eid al-Fitr.
During the same period, AGP is also providing kitchen commodity packages consisting of red bird’s eye chillies, red curly chillies, and shallots at Rp 50,000 per package. This package is provided to help the public meet cooking ingredient needs, which typically increase ahead of Eid al-Fitr.
The cheap market implementation is carried out in stages using a door-to-door approach. The Artha Graha Peduli team directly visits community environments. This approach aims to ensure that the distribution of subsidised commodities can reach residents more closely and with greater precision.
“This cheap market programme represents Artha Graha Peduli’s commitment to helping the public obtain basic necessities at more affordable prices. Ahead of Eid al-Fitr, we have also added several important commodities such as chillies, onions, meat, and eggs so that the public can directly benefit from this programme,” said Riyan Yektono, Head of AGP’s Cheap Market Implementation.
Artha Graha Peduli emphasises that this subsidised cheap market programme will continue and will be adapted to the needs of communities in various regions. Through cheap market activities, market operations, and meat operations conducted ahead of Eid al-Fitr, AGP hopes to help maintain food price stability whilst supporting public purchasing power.
