The Indonesian Anti-Corruption Commission (KPK) suspects that the Pemuda Pancasila organisation received money on a tiered basis each month in connection with the Rita Widyasari case.

“This is structured hierarchically because the organisation has a structure. One part of its structure is in East Kalimantan, where the company operated by Rita’s brother is located,” said KPK Deputy for Enforcement and Execution Asep Guntur Rahayu in a statement confirmed in Jakarta on Thursday.

For this reason, Asep said the KPK is still tracing the flow of money from the alleged gratification case involving metric tonnes of coal production in the Kutai Kartanegara region.

“We are tracing where the flow of money from these metric tonnes of coal mining goes. One destination is there (PP) where money flows in a tiered manner,” he said.

Previously, on 28 September 2017, the KPK named Rita Widyasari, Director-General of PT Sawit Golden Prima; Hery Susanto Gun, and Khairudin, Commissioner of PT Media Bangun Bersama, as suspects in an alleged gratification case in Kutai Kartanegara, East Kalimantan.

Rita was suspected of receiving a bribe of 6 billion rupiah related to the granting of a location permit for an oil palm plantation in Kupang Baru Village, Muara Kaman District, to PT Sawit Golden Prima.

The KPK on 16 January 2018 named Rita Widyasari and Khairudin as suspects in an alleged money laundering case.

On 6 June 2024, the KPK announced that it had seized 91 vehicles and various other economically valuable items, five parcels of land with a total area reaching thousands of square metres, and 30 luxury watches from various brands during the investigation of the case.

On 19 February 2025, the KPK revealed that Rita Widyasari was also suspected of receiving millions of US dollars in relation to coal mining, amounting to approximately 5 US dollars per metric tonne of coal.

On 19 February 2026, the KPK announced three corporations as suspects in the alleged gratification case related to metric tonnes of coal production in Kutai Kartanegara. These are PT Sinar Kumala Naga (SKN), PT Alamjaya Barapratama (ABP), and PT Bara Kumala Sakti (BKS).

On 10 March 2026, the KPK questioned the General Chairman of the National Leadership Council of Pemuda Pancasila Japto Soerjosoemarno regarding mining company security services in connection with the Rita Widyasari case.
