Another traffic jam
Another traffic jam
From Neraca
Traffic jams on Jl. Salemba Raya, from St. Carolus hospital to
the Matraman overpass, have become the order of the day since
construction began on the overpass connecting Jl. Pramuka and Jl.
Matraman. Meanwhile, the flow of traffic from Jl. Salemba to
Kebayoran, South Jakarta, is heavy.
To solve the traffic problem I suggest several alternatives.
First, for the time being, make Jl. Diponegoro (in front of
the Public Hospital) a two-way street so that the cars from Jl.
Salemba don't have to take Jl. Matraman Dalam to go to Kebayoran.
Second, parking in front of St. Carolus hospital until the DKI
bank should be prohibited. Lastly, the area should cleared of
sidewalk vendors and vehicles which use it as an illegal
terminal.
