AMMN Posts Net Profit of Rp 4.36 Trillion in 2025, Smelter at Full Capacity
JAKARTA - PT Amman Mineral Internasional Tbk (AMMN) recorded a net profit for the whole of 2025 of US$258 million, equivalent to Rp 4.36 trillion at an exchange rate of Rp 16,890 per US dollar.
AMMN President Director Arief Sidarto stated that the 2025 financial performance reflects the impact of the concentrate export ban at the beginning of the year, as well as the smelter ramp-up process.
Nevertheless, the company booked net sales of US$1,847 million, with performance strengthening in the second half, where the fourth quarter contributed around 70 per cent of the full-year sales as the copper smelter and Precious Metal Refinery (PMR) operations stabilised.
Meanwhile, net profit was recorded at US$258 million with a 14 per cent margin.
“This achievement reflects the impact of this year’s transition, including the start of Phase 8 mining and the challenges of the smelter ramp-up, which temporarily pressured margins,” Arief said in a press statement on Thursday (26/3/2026).
AMMN’s smelter operations experienced temporary shutdowns in July and August 2025 for repairs to main facilities, namely the Flash Converting Furnace and Sulfuric Acid Plant. After the repair process was completed, operations resumed stably until the end of the year.
From an operational perspective, through its subsidiaries PT Amman Mineral Nusa Tenggara and PT Amman Mineral Industri, AMMN has now transformed into an integrated mining company from upstream to downstream, while strengthening its position as Indonesia’s second-largest copper and gold producer.
The company also recorded important achievements in downstream processing, marked by the first production of copper cathodes in March 2025 and pure gold in July of the same year.
This serves as an important foundation in enhancing product value along the business chain.
In the mining sector, operations proceeded according to plan despite a decrease in total material mined due to mine sequence adjustments.
However, access to fresh ore from Phase 8 increased, and the company successfully exceeded its annual production targets for concentrate and gold.
Entering 2026, AMMN will prioritise smelter operational stability and continue several strategic projects, including the construction of a combined cycle power plant (PLTGU), an LNG regasification facility, and concentrator plant expansion.
Therefore, the company will continue to focus on execution discipline, cost efficiency, and operational excellence to maintain performance growth and create sustainable value for shareholders.
“We will continue to focus on disciplined execution, cost optimisation, and operational excellence to create sustainable value for our shareholders and stakeholders,” Arief added.
