Amalia Adininggar Receives Outstanding Leader in National Data Governance Award
Head of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti has received the Outstanding Leader in National Data Governance and Statistical System award at the CNN Indonesia Leading Women Awards 2026.
The award was presented directly by CNN Indonesia’s Editor-in-Chief Titin Rosmasari at the peak event of the Leading Women Awards 2026, held at the Auditorium of Menara Bank Mega, Jakarta, on Tuesday evening (5/4).
Amalia is the BPS Head who was inaugurated by President Prabowo Subianto in February 2025. Previously, this woman, familiarly known as Winny, served as acting BPS Head since 2023.
As BPS Head, Amalia is recognised for her significant contributions to strengthening the integration and governance of national data through BPS transformations.
Under her leadership, BPS has increasingly served as the primary source of credible and integrated data to support government policy-making.
This year, BPS will also conduct the 2025 Economic Census as a foundation for national economic policies based on quality, meaningful, and impactful data.
The Leading Women Awards 2026 is organised by CNN Indonesia as a form of appreciation for inspirational women in the country who have contributed in various fields.
