BOGOR - Aftersales services often become the primary consideration for consumers before switching to electric vehicles. Understanding this, ALVA implements a strategy that is considered unique in providing service points for its users. While typically the number of service locations is fewer than sales dealerships, ALVA reverses this logic. Currently, the ratio between the number of official outlets and service points reaches 1 to 10. “If we look at the ratio, between the number of service points available and our outlets, it’s somewhat reversed. Usually, sales are increased first, service points not so much. But here it’s the opposite,” said Purbaya in Bintaro on Tuesday (28/4/2026). Purbaya explained that ALVA currently has around 10 to 11 official outlets. However, through strategic partnerships with various workshop partners, the number of service points has surged several times over. “The outlets are only 10-11, but if we look at the number of our service points, in collaboration with partners, it’s around 120,” said Purbaya. Purbaya added that this strategy is a form of the company’s commitment to being customer-centric. With an extensive network, ALVA motorcycle owners are expected no longer to feel worried or have difficulty finding maintenance locations. “We provide as much as possible what customers need. We feel that once they buy an ALVA motorcycle, for periodic maintenance and so on, how easy is the process,” he said. For information, for periodic maintenance, ALVA collaborates with the SiTepat workshop network, Mister e-bike, BintaroEV to Otoklix, which are spread across nearly 50 cities in Indonesia.
