The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has confirmed that all Indonesian hajj pilgrims have been dispatched towards Saudi Arabia. With the completion of the departure phase from Indonesian territory, service focus has now shifted to preparations for the peak hajj period at Arafah, Muzdalifah, and Mina (Armuzna).
Ministry of Hajj spokesperson Ichsan Marsha stated that all services in the Holy Land are being continuously refined to ensure pilgrims can perform their worship safely, orderly, and comfortably.
“Alhamdulillah, entering the 32nd day of hajj operations, all Indonesian hajj pilgrims have been dispatched towards Saudi Arabia. Currently, the focus of the Saudi Arabian PPIH service is finalising Armuzna preparations, ranging from pilgrim placement, tent readiness, supplies, transportation, health, security, to staffing placement,” said Ichsan in Makkah on Friday (22 May 2026).
Based on the latest operational data, a total of 527 contingents with 202,643 pilgrims and 2,097 officials have been dispatched to Saudi Arabia. A total of 253 contingents with 96,505 pilgrims and 1,006 officials have landed at King Abdul Aziz Airport in Jeddah. Meanwhile, 518 contingents with 199,446 pilgrims and 2,072 officials have arrived in Makkah. Additionally, 16,359 special hajj pilgrims have also arrived in Saudi Arabia.
