Akulaku Finance channels Rp7.44 trillion in financing during 2025
Jakarta (ANTARA) – President Director of PT Akulaku Finance Indonesia, Perry Barman Slangor, said that total financing disbursed during last year reached Rp7.44 trillion (unaudited), up 23 percent year-on-year from 2024.
‘This growth is also balanced by the implementation of fairly conservative risk management. Our growth last year actually reached Rp7.4 trillion, so it increased compared with the previous year in 2024 which reached Rp6 trillion,’ Perry Barman Slangor told reporters in Jakarta on Thursday evening (5/3).
He added that the growth was supported by a high volume of transactions reaching 46.5 million, mainly through BNPL/paylater financing.
He said the contribution of that product dominates funding disbursed by the company to 89 percent of the total portfolio.
‘And this growth is not just on the top line (revenue), but we can also manage on the middle line (gross profit), so the bottom line (net profit) profitability grew very well,’ Perry said.
He disclosed that profitability rose 66 percent year-on-year, from Rp65 billion in 2024 to Rp108 billion in 2025.
In addition to profit, he stated that the value of managed loan receivables rose to Rp2.5 trillion.
Despite financing and transactions rising significantly, Perry said the non-performing financing ratio was kept at a very healthy level, 1.1 percent.
He noted that the debt-to-equity ratio remained relatively stable and still low, at around 2 times.
‘So in 2025 basically is the year in which we can grow healthily, sustainably with conservative risk management practices,’ he added.
