AKRA allocates Rp1 trillion for terminal development through to JIIPE

Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT AKR Corporindo Tbk (AKRA) has allocated capital expenditure (capex) of Rp1 trillion to develop terminals in Java, Kalimantan and Sulawesi, as well as to complete utility facilities at the Java Integrated Industrial and Ports Estate (JIIPE) in Gresik.

“So, for this year (2026) we have allocated capex of around Rp1 trillion. It is being used for maintenance capex, the acquisition of one vessel, terminal development, and also completing several utility facilities at JIIPE,” said Ignatius Teguh Prayoga, Head of Investor Relations at AKRA, at the Public Expose Live 2026 press conference in Jakarta on Tuesday.

Teguh said that of the Rp1 trillion allocated, approximately Rp546 billion had been realised in the first half of 2026.

At the same event, AKRA Corporate Secretary Arum Pawestri Handayani said the company plans to develop and monetise JIIPE through land sales, port activities, and increased demand for utilities.

“We will also develop our next growth drivers, including industrial utilities, port services, natural gas and LNG infrastructure, solar energy, retail fuel, and aviation fuel,” said Arum.

The development of JIIPE and the expansion of utility services are two of the company’s three main priorities.

Arum said the other priority is to strengthen the fuel and basic chemicals trading and distribution business through selective volume growth, supply reliability, and network optimisation.

“Amid geopolitical dynamics, energy and commodity price volatility, changes in global supply chains, and efficiency demands, AKRA sees customer needs continuing to evolve,” said Arum.

She added that growth in investment and downstream processing will also increase industrial demand for reliable raw material and energy supplies, efficient logistics networks, and industrial estates supported by adequate port and utility facilities.

In terms of performance, AKRA recorded revenues of Rp30.84 trillion in the first half of 2026, comprising Rp30.7 trillion from contracts with customers and Rp134 billion in rental income.

Furthermore, she said gross profit stood at Rp2.28 trillion and net profit at Rp1.43 trillion.
