        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT AKR Corporindo Tbk (AKRA) has allocated capital\nexpenditure (capex) of Rp1 trillion to develop terminals in Java,\nKalimantan and Sulawesi, as well as to complete utility facilities at\nthe Java Integrated Industrial and Ports Estate (JIIPE) in Gresik.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo, for this year (2026) we have allocated capex of around Rp1\ntrillion. It is being used for maintenance capex, the acquisition of one\nvessel, terminal development, and also completing several utility\nfacilities at JIIPE,\u201d said Ignatius Teguh Prayoga, Head of Investor\nRelations at AKRA, at the Public Expose Live 2026 press conference in\nJakarta on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>Teguh said that of the Rp1 trillion allocated, approximately Rp546\nbillion had been realised in the first half of 2026.<\/p>\n<p>At the same event, AKRA Corporate Secretary Arum Pawestri Handayani\nsaid the company plans to develop and monetise JIIPE through land sales,\nport activities, and increased demand for utilities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will also develop our next growth drivers, including industrial\nutilities, port services, natural gas and LNG infrastructure, solar\nenergy, retail fuel, and aviation fuel,\u201d said Arum.<\/p>\n<p>The development of JIIPE and the expansion of utility services are\ntwo of the company\u2019s three main priorities.<\/p>\n<p>Arum said the other priority is to strengthen the fuel and basic\nchemicals trading and distribution business through selective volume\ngrowth, supply reliability, and network optimisation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAmid geopolitical dynamics, energy and commodity price volatility,\nchanges in global supply chains, and efficiency demands, AKRA sees\ncustomer needs continuing to evolve,\u201d said Arum.<\/p>\n<p>She added that growth in investment and downstream processing will\nalso increase industrial demand for reliable raw material and energy\nsupplies, efficient logistics networks, and industrial estates supported\nby adequate port and utility facilities.<\/p>\n<p>In terms of performance, AKRA recorded revenues of Rp30.84 trillion\nin the first half of 2026, comprising Rp30.7 trillion from contracts\nwith customers and Rp134 billion in rental income.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, she said gross profit stood at Rp2.28 trillion and net\nprofit at Rp1.43 trillion.<\/p>",
