AirNav Indonesia Partners with Jamdatun of the Attorney General's Office to Strengthen Governance and Mitigate Legal Risks
AirNav Indonesia, officially the LPPNPI, the Indonesian Air Navigation Service Provider, has joined forces with the Deputy Attorney General for Civil Law and State Administrative Law (Jamdatun) of the Attorney General’s Office of the Republic of Indonesia to fortify corporate governance and mitigate legal risks in its operations. The collaboration was formalised with the signing of a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) between AirNav Indonesia’s President Director Capt. Avirianto Suratno and Jamdatun of the Attorney General’s Office R. Narendra Jatna in Jakarta on Thursday, 5 March 2026. Chief Executive Captain Avirianto Suratno said the collaboration is a strategic step for strengthening Good Corporate Governance (GCG) and supporting the organisation’s ongoing transformation. “This cooperation greatly assists us in the transformation process, particularly to ensure the company can continue to provide optimal air navigation services,” he said in a press release quoted on Sunday, 8 March 2026. The application of GCG He added that Jamdatun’s support is important in ensuring consistency in applying GCG principles in the management of operational activities and investments. He noted that the collaboration with Jamdatun will help AirNav Indonesia mitigate various potential civil and state administrative law issues that may arise in the company’s activities. “We greatly appreciate Jamdatun’s reception of this cooperation. This collaboration is crucial for us to handle operational, technical, and legal challenges in a correct and accountable manner,” said Avirianto. The collaboration between AirNav Indonesia and Jamdatun is not the first of its kind. Previously, the two parties had established a similar partnership in 2022. Through that cooperation, AirNav Indonesia and Jamdatun built synergy between a state-owned enterprise (BUMN) and a law enforcement agency to enhance the effectiveness of handling and resolving corporate legal matters, particularly in civil and state administrative law. In addition, the partnership includes efforts to improve the quality of human resources within the company, especially in understanding the legal aspects related to company operations. AirNav Indonesia believes that Jamdatun’s support will further strengthen the company’s ability to manage various legal matters professionally and in accordance with good corporate governance principles. Through this collaboration, the company also hopes to safeguard Indonesia’s reputation in the air navigation sector while ensuring that air navigation services remain operating safely, securely, and reliably.
