JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com — The development of artificial intelligence (AI) technology is driving significant changes in the securities industry, especially ahead of the AI trading era in 2026. Stock trading activities are no longer solely determined by manual analysis capabilities, but by the speed of data reading, execution precision, and the system’s ability to process information in real time. President Director & CEO of PT Indo Premier Sekuritas (IPOT), Moleonoto The, stated that the current industry reality shows that most trading platforms still rely on static user interface (UI/UX) displays that cannot keep up with the fast-moving market dynamics. According to Moleonoto, these limitations directly impact the quality of investors’ decisions. Slow UI can cause delays in entry, while data not updated in real time can lead to erroneous decisions. He added that without real-time AI support, investors also risk missing confirmations of large fund movements in the market (smart money). Besides technological factors, manual trading practices are still dominated by emotion-based decisions. Investors often buy on emotional impulses or sell in panic, without direct data validation. “Without momentum indicators, without transaction pressure detection, and without confirmation before entry, the result is wrong positions, getting trapped at peaks, and repeated losses. In the fast market era, this approach is no longer relevant, but rather a form of high-risk speculation,” he said. In response to these changes, IPOT has developed AI-based real-time UI/UX that functions not only as a display but also as an integrated decision-making system. With this approach, every transaction decision must go through an AI-based confirmation process. For example, the AI Live feature is used to identify active stocks and transaction pressures in real time, while LADI provides indications of accumulation or distribution directions by major market players. This approach is said to transform the way investors make decisions, including avoiding entry at peak prices and minimising distribution trap risks. In addition, the AI-based system is also integrated with automation mechanisms through the ROBO Trading System.
