TEMPO Interactive, Semarang:The Central Java Agriculture Office’s Food, Plants and Horticulture chief Aris Budiono said the exports of horticultural products face delivery problems because no airlines have offered direct cargo delivery overseas. “That is why horticultural exporters are not from Central Java,” he said yesterday. Yet, some horticultural products from the province, like fruit, can be marketed overseas. As example, the export volume for salak or snake fruit from Magelang to China came to 422 tons.
