MyRepublic has launched a budget internet package, MyRepublic Air, providing 100 Mbps speeds for around Rp 100,000. The package is now available for use in Bali, Makassar, Lampung, and Pekanbaru.

Two packages are offered. Air100 Hemat is priced at Rp 100,000 for 30 days, while the package including modem rental is Rp 115,000 for 30 days.

The package delivers 100 Mbps internet speeds via a 5G network. Customers can connect up to five devices.

“Regarding customers who can go live, yes, within the next few days, it’s currently available in those four cities: Bali, Makassar, then Lampung, and Pekanbaru. Of course, in the coming days, it will expand,” said MyRepublic’s Chief Sales & Marketing Officer, Iman Syahrizal, at the Media Gathering & Launching of MyRepublic Air in Jakarta on Tuesday (14/4/2026).

He also explained that the network can be accessed at eight sites in those areas. So, potential customers near those sites can connect to the internet immediately.

The package was launched after MyRepublic won the 1.4 GHz network spectrum alongside Surge in October 2025. Chief Technology Officer Hendra Gunawan said extensive preparation was needed to deploy this technology, as it is the first of its kind in Indonesia.

“So, we designed it together with the vendors, specifying what the requirements are, and that took time, so the vendors are also ready with products for 1.4, and that required time,” he explained.

Additionally, the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs issued requirements for the nine regions obtained to undergo Operational Feasibility Testing first. Only after passing could MyRepublic launch the related programme.

“From the Komdigi side, they also provided very strict requirements, so the nine zones we got from these two regions must be tested, and that requires time from our Komdigi colleagues and vendors for all that preparation, so we must pass the operational feasibility test in all cities first before we can commercialise this product,” said Hendra.

MyRepublic also opened pre-registration for MyRepublic Air in February. Iman did not disclose details on the number of pre-order customers, only stating that it has reached tens of thousands.

“It’s already tens of thousands of leads, but of course, during pre-registration, we follow up once the cities and sites are all ready for sales,” explained Iman.
