The handover of new homes on Nanjung Street in Lagadar Village, Margaasih District, Bandung Regency, has begun for buyers.

Parahyangan Garden City’s Managing Director, Samuel Koshan, stated that this key handover is part of completing the first development phase and the beginning of forming a new residential community.

“This marks the start of a residential environment for buyers who have previously completed their agreements,” Samuel said on Saturday (25/4/2026).

The Isana cluster is the first phase being handed over, with sales claimed to have reached around 90 per cent.

“Our prices are certainly competitive. However, we offer added value in facilities and quality,” he explained.

The emergence of this new housing project is considered relevant to the high housing backlog figures.

Data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) through the March 2025 National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) records approximately 2.1 million households in West Java without permanent housing.

“We hope this housing becomes an alternative choice for residents without homes, as our backlog remains large,” Samuel remarked.

Amid these conditions, the development of the new housing area in Margaasih serves as one effort to increase housing supply, particularly in the Bandung City’s supporting regions experiencing continuous population growth.

In terms of location, this area is connected to several main accesses, including routes to the Baros Toll Gate and Margaasih Toll.

Public facilities in the surrounding area are also available, from schools and healthcare services to community economic activity centres.

For financing, the project collaborates with several banks in providing Home Ownership Credit (KPR) facilities.

One buyer, Oki Riawan (38), admitted to having received his house keys and plans to occupy his unit soon.

“The location is close to my workplace, making daily activities easier,” he said.
