Aceh launches disaster response action map dashboard
Banda Aceh — The Aceh Provincial Government in Banda Aceh on Friday launched an action map dashboard and community participation platform for disaster management via the tanggapi.acehprov.go.id website to accelerate response times and strengthen cross-agency coordination.
Aceh Regional Secretary M Nasir stated that the integrated system enables each incident to be identified more quickly, responses to be more accurate, and policies to be established based on accurate and measurable information.
He described the dashboard as a strategic step for the regional government in building an integrated, collaborative, and data-driven disaster management system.
The platform is designed as an information centre and action mapping hub that integrates real-time data, monitors response progress, and strengthens coordination among relevant agencies.
The dashboard provides transparent data access covering six disaster management clusters: search and rescue, logistics, evacuation, health, education, and recovery, according to M Nasir.
He noted that the system is connected with various other platforms, enabling structured and continuous data exchange.
Through the dashboard, the public can submit reports quickly and in a structured manner to support more effective and responsive decision-making.
Fauza stated that the platform has undergone system development stages, testing and simulations, and limited socialisation with regional officials and volunteers before launch.
He added that the platform represents collaborative effort in supporting more responsive, transparent, and accountable post-disaster rehabilitation and reconstruction.
The Aceh Government hopes the dashboard launch will improve disaster management governance to be more coordinated and participatory whilst providing optimal protection and services to the public, according to Fauza.
