ACC and Astra Foundation Collaborate to Channel Revolving Funds to SMEs
Jakarta — In line with its commitment to sustainability, Astra Credit Companies (ACC) has strengthened its support for micro, small and medium enterprises (SMEs) by channeling a revolving fund of Rp100 million. In collaboration with Yayasan Astra – Yayasan Dharma Bhakti Astra (Yayasan Astra), the capital assistance targets 20 SMEs to boost their economic independence. More than financial aid, this collaboration is a tangible step by ACC to accompany SMEs to scale up and contribute more significantly to the national economic recovery.
To mark International Women’s Day, the revolving fund disbursement was launched in a ceremonial event on 6 March 2026, attended by ACC Chief Human Capital Officer Frederikus Radix Wikanto, ACC EVP Corporate Communication & ESR Riadi Prasodjo, Chairman of the Board of Yayasan Astra – Yayasan Dharma Bhakti Astra Rahmat Samulo, and Secretary of the Yayasan Astra – Yayasan Dharma Bhakti Astra Ema Poedjiwati at the Astra Foundation Gallery, Sunter, North Jakarta.
Radix said the revolving fund programme is ACC’s support for expanding MSMEs, especially women-led MSMEs. “Through synergy with Yayasan Astra, ACC wants to ensure that women-led SMEs have a strong financing foundation to scale up. This sustainability spirit is not only about financial aid, but about building long-term competitiveness of enterprises,” he said.
Rahmat Samulo, chair of the Yayasan Astra – Yayasan Dharma Bhakti Astra, also expressed appreciation for ACC’s collaboration to help SMEs climb to the next level. He explained that the launch of the second cohort coinciding with International Women’s Day is a concrete manifestation of shared commitment to empowering women in the economic sector, where mothers running SMEs are not only drivers of household economies but pillars of the national economy. “Following a 100 per cent fund recovery rate in the first cohort, which demonstrated participants’ integrity, this programme innovates with a monthly instalment scheme to keep SME cash flows healthy and lighten the burden,” he said. He urged all participants to optimise capital according to their plans, maintain financial discipline, and continue to expand markets.
ACC channels Rp100 million in business funds for 20 SMEs mentored by Yayasan Astra through a revolving fund system. The revolving fund is interest-free capital provided to SME actors. After a 12-month period, the funds are returned to be re-distributed to other SMEs in need, creating sustainable benefits.
The women-led SMEs receiving revolving funds are those with female operators and businesses in the culinary or handicraft sectors located in Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi (Jabodetabek).
In addition to the financial support, the women SMEs also receive an empowerment program including a workshop on “Digital Marketing for the Development of Women-Led SMEs,” designed to give them not only capital but also strategic skills to market their products more broadly in the digital era. This workshop is led by digital marketing mentor Upit Fitrianingsih ST., MT. CBCP.
Furthermore, the beneficiary SMEs will also be offered a private mentoring programme where business owners can consult with experienced mentors in the SME field regarding their business challenges.
