Aberdeen enters Bank Bali

JAKARTA (JP): Publicly listed regional fund manager Asset
Management Asia Ltd has acquired a 4.99 percent stake in publicly
listed Bank Bali.

Bank Bali said in a letter to the Jakarta Stock Exchange,
which released the letter Monday, that the investment was a long-
term one.

The bank, however, did not mention how Asset Management Asia
acquired the stake. (rid)
