ABB unit gets ISO 9002

JAKARTA (JP): PT ABB Instalation Materials, a joint venture company manufacturing electrical miniature circuit breakers, has gained an ISO 9002 certificate for its product's quality and safety from an international standards organization in Singapore.

The company said in a statement yesterday that the certificate was given by the Institute of Standards and Industrial Research in Singapore yesterday.

ABB Instalation Materials in Jakarta is 80 percent owned by ASEA Brown Boveri of Sweden and the remaining 20 percent by a local partner, PT Bambang Jaya.(kod)
