TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta:PT Modern International, which holds the license for 7-Eleven convenience stores, has allocated Rp150 billion to increase the number of 7-Eleven outlets. “The fund will be used to open new outlets and infrastructure development as well as human resources development,” PT Modern Putra president director Henri Honoris, said in Jakarta yesterday.
PT Modern International’s subsidiary plans to open 56 new outlets by the end of the year. So far, 31 outlets have been opened in Central Jakarta, South Jakarta and West Jakarta. Ten of them were built during the first quarter of this year. The rest were built last year. “Jakarta has a good potential for us,” said Henri.
