Jakarta — The Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) has recorded 5,214,894 annual Personal Income Tax Returns (SPT) for the 2025 tax year submitted by 2 March 2026 at 08:18 Western Indonesian Time.
Inge Diana Rismawanti, Director of Tax Education, Service, and Public Relations at the DJP, stated that the majority of returns were submitted through the DJP’s Coretax system, which has become the primary platform for national tax administration.
“As of 2 March 2026, a total of 5,214,894 annual tax returns have been submitted. These filings consist of 5,213,558 returns through Coretax DJP and 1,336 returns through Coretax Form,” Inge said in an official statement on Monday, 2 March 2026.
Non-employee individual taxpayers recorded 455,111 returns. Corporate taxpayers submitted 116,243 returns for entities with rupiah-denominated bookkeeping and 109 returns for entities with United States dollar bookkeeping for the January to December financial year.
Additionally, corporate taxpayers with different financial years, which began reporting from 1 August 2025, submitted 879 returns for rupiah-denominated bookkeeping entities and 21 returns for dollar-denominated bookkeeping entities.
Alongside the implementation of the latest digital tax system, the DJP has also recorded significant growth in Coretax account activation. By early March 2026, the number of taxpayers who have activated Coretax accounts reached 14,903,610.
This figure comprises 13,897,537 individual taxpayers, 915,973 corporate taxpayers, 89,875 government institution taxpayers, and 225 electronic commerce business (PMSE) taxpayers.
Coretax DJP is an integrated tax administration system designed to make it easier for taxpayers to meet their tax obligations digitally, including the filing of annual tax returns.
The DJP continues to encourage taxpayers to promptly submit their annual tax returns before the deadline to avoid administrative penalties whilst supporting improved national tax compliance.
