Jakarta, Indonesia – The Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov) through PT Jakpro (PT Jakarta Propertindo), a state-owned enterprise, has prepared 4,500 packages of affordable staple foods as part of its Ramadhan corporate social responsibility programme.

Jakpro’s Chief Executive Officer Iwan Takwin stated that the affordable staple food packages will be distributed in phases. “The affordable staple food packages can be redeemed at IDR 100,000 from the normal price of IDR 150,000,” said Iwan on Thursday, 26 February 2026.

Distribution will take place in phases across three regions. Additionally, 3,000 packages of affordable staple foods will be available to the public on Sunday, 1 March 2026 as part of the Jakarta International Stadium Ramadhan Festival.

Each package contains 5 kilogrammes of rice, 1 kilogramme of flour, 1 litre of cooking oil, and 1 kilogramme of sugar.

Iwan stated that the affordable staple food programme represents Jakpro’s support for the Jakarta Provincial Government’s policy to protect purchasing power amid economic growth. The programme is also aligned with the Jakarta Provincial Government’s policy under the leadership of Pramono Anung, which encourages inclusive economic stimulus for the public.

Beyond staple foods, Jakpro is organising other social activities during Ramadhan, including the “Shop Together for Orphans and the Underprivileged” programme on Thursday, 26 February 2026. A total of 100 orphans and underprivileged children from areas around the Jakarta LRT Phase 1B development route received the opportunity to shop for essential needs, school supplies, and daily necessities with volunteer assistance.

“This Ramadhan CSR programme affirms Jakpro’s commitment to delivering the benefits of development that are directly felt by the community whilst supporting Jakarta’s economic growth,” said Iwan.
