208 Hajj Candidates from Depok City Yet to Pay 2026 Hajj Fees
Head of the Service and Facilitation Section for Economic Ecosystem Development at the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah Office in Depok City, Boby Arvianto, revealed that 208 prospective Hajj pilgrims from Depok have not yet paid the 2026 Hajj travel fee (Bipih). Boby explained that Depok’s Hajj quota is 2,631, with 2,423 having paid the Bipih, while the remaining 208 have not. The 2026 Bipih, paid directly by pilgrims, is set at Rp 54,193,806.58. “Yes, those who have not paid include various factors, such as economic, health, and other factors. Those who have not paid will have their rights carried over to the following year,” Boby said when confirmed on Monday, 13 April 2026. Nevertheless, Boby continued, this does not eliminate their portion as long as the prospective pilgrims do not cancel their quota number. “So, if they postpone, postpone, as long as it is not cancelled personally, the portion will still allow departure in the following year,” Boby stated. From the total of 2,423 prospective Hajj pilgrims who have paid the Hajj fee, Depok City receives six kloters, dispatched in two waves, with one kloter combined with Bogor Regency. “So, Depok City’s kloters are kloter 2, kloter 6, kloter 12, kloter 18, kloter 21, and kloter 26. The combined kloter for Depok City itself is in kloter 21 with 164 pilgrims. The others, besides the combined kloter, are all full kloters totalling 445 people including staff,” Boby said. Based on the established schedule, Boby stated, Depok’s first departure is on 22 April. Thus, one day prior, the prospective Hajj pilgrims will enter the Hajj Dormitory. “The preparations will involve handing over large suitcases to us, which we will try to place at Masjid At-Thohir, as the location is more strategic compared to the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah office,” Boby remarked.
