2,955 SNBT Candidates Admitted as New Students at UPN Veteran Yogyakarta
A total of 2,955 candidates have been admitted as new students at Universitas Pembangunan Nasional (UPN) ‘Veteran’ Yogyakarta through the National Selection Based on Tests (SNBT) pathway for 2026, from a pool of 37,074 applicants.
Dr. Machya Astuti Dewi, M.Si., Vice Rector for Academic and Information Systems at UPN ‘Veteran’ Yogyakarta, extended her congratulations to all successful candidates.
For applicants who did not secure a place in the 2026 SNBT pathway, Dr. Machya urged them not to be discouraged, as the university, which carries the motto ‘Widya Mwat Yasa’, still offers opportunities to apply through its independent selection process.
“Those who were unsuccessful in the 2026 SNBT should not be disheartened. Opportunities to join the ‘Bela Negara’ campus remain open via the independent selection process,” Dr. Machya said on Monday (25 May).
UPN ‘Veteran’ Yogyakarta, she added, is still accepting applications through two independent selection schemes. The first, Bela Negara 1 pathway, is open until 2 June 2026, while the second, Bela Negara 2, runs from 1 to 15 July 2026.
Successful candidates must complete re-registration. “Those admitted must register according to the timeline set by the UPN ‘Veteran’ Yogyakarta admission committee; failure to do so will be deemed as withdrawal,” she stressed.
