Fifteen state-owned enterprises (SOEs) are implementing a collaborative corporate social and environmental responsibility (TJSL) programme in Raja Ampat Regency, Southwest Papua. The programme targets the strengthening of coastal ecosystems, basic services, and community economic empowerment in 3T regions (disadvantaged, frontier, and outermost areas).

The President Director of PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero), Heru Widodo, stated that the activities will take place from 22 to 24 April 2026 and will be centred in Mutus Village and Manyaifun Village. The programme is designed with a cross-sectoral approach encompassing the environment, education, and local economic strengthening.

“This programme represents the synergy of SOEs to deliver integrated and sustainable impacts in 3T regions,” said Heru in a written statement in Jakarta on Monday (27/4/2026).

The collaboration involves, among others, Pelindo, InJourney Airports, BNI, PLN, Pegadaian, PELNI, IFG, AirNav Indonesia, Taspen, Peruri, Askrindo, Jamkrindo, Garuda Indonesia, and Perum DAMRI. This involvement is aimed at expanding the programme’s scope while enhancing the effectiveness of interventions in the field.

In the environmental sector, the programme includes planting 2,000 mangrove seedlings and transplanting 650 coral fragments in Mutus Village. These activities are accompanied by conservation education as well as diving training and certification for local community groups.

In the economic aspect, the SOEs are providing assistance to Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) to strengthen institutions and increase community income. The programme is also directed towards promoting economic activities based on local resources.

In the basic infrastructure sector, electricity provision reaches 119 households with around 500 beneficiaries. Meanwhile, in Manyaifun Village, a similar programme reaches 59 households with 117 beneficiaries.

The programme also includes renovations to educational facilities at SD YPK Effata Mutus and SMPN 11 Raja Ampat, as well as improvements to public facilities and places of worship. These interventions are intended to enhance the quality of basic services for the community.

The TJSL Director of the SOE Holding Company, Edi Eko Cahyono, stated that cross-SOE collaboration enables more measurable and sustainable programme implementation. The multi-intervention approach is deemed capable of accelerating development impacts in the target areas.

The Corporate Secretary of ASDP, Windy Andale, added that this programme continues various previous TJSL initiatives in several regions, including mangrove planting, coral transplantation, and support for education and SMEs.

According to Windy, the series of programmes aligns with sustainable development targets, particularly in environmental, educational, and community economic strengthening aspects.
