“Coordination with AirNav Indonesia to monitor the affected airspace, as well as with security authorities to anticipate security situations at the airport,” he stated.
So far, all passenger handling has been carried out in accordance with each airline’s policies.
I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport has provided a help desk service on the 2nd Floor of the International Departure Terminal, as well as contact services via telephone number 172 for schedule updates.
The airport has also made contingency arrangements for aircraft parking allocations for flights affected by the US-Israel-Iran conflict, with space allocated for five aircraft from three affected airlines.
“We urge prospective air passengers to continue communicating with their airlines for updates on flight schedules,” Eka Sandi said.
