Preference for Indonesian Coal Hurts South African Port
The price of coal shipped from South Africa’s Richards Bay Coal Terminal, the continent’s largest export facility for the fuel, fell to the lowest in six weeks as buyers opted for Indonesian supplies.Prices fell 2.4 percent last week to an average $120.

South Korea to Build Pipe Plant in Makassar in June
TEMPO Interactive, Makassar:South Korea’s PEM Korea Co Ltd will build the first HDPE Polyclin pipe manufacturing plant in eastern Indonesia. The US$ 5-10 million plant will be located on a 5,000-square meter area in the Makassar Industrial Zone (Kima).
