Investors await East Java's development plan for Madura
Investors from the property sector are waiting for East Java's development overview of Madura before investing their capital on the island, says an executive. The secretary of the East Java branch of the Indonesian Real Estate Association (REI) Muhammad Nur Wakhid said Thursday that a number of property investors had expressed interest in developing Madura after the opening of the Suramadu bridge. Coal forum to be held in Bali next week
Alfian Idrisahmad, The Jakarta Post, Jakarta Bali will host a forum on coal, involving coal producers, consumers and government representatives from Southeast Asia next week. The Indonesian Energy and Mineral Resources announced on its official website on Friday that a council meeting of the ASEAN Forum on Coal (AFOC) will be held at the Padma Hotel, Legian, Bali, from June 24 through 25. About 60 delegates from the Association of Southeast Asian Countries (ASEAN) will attend the forum.
