I heard from the guy at Merdeka about this and he told me the new place is close to the old Periplus book store in Kemang so I am going there this Saturday to get my coffee from them. Govt: foreign direct investment growth in 2008 May not reach 15 pct
Jakarta, (ANTARA News) - Trade Minister Mari Elka Pangestu predicted foreign direct investment growth this year may not reach 15 percent in view of sluggish global developments. "Perhaps it will be a little below 15 percent," she said. However she believed it would be above ten percent or higher than last year`s. She said last year`s investment was nine percent of the gross domestic product and in the first semester this year it already reached 12.5 percent.

Trade ministry to take firm measures against illegal batik imports
Jakarta, (ANTARA News) - Trade Minister Mari Elka Pangestu said the government would take firm action against illegal batik imports and suspected dumping of batik which was threatening local industries. "I would say if we have to compete with batik from China, we should just make better designs but if Chinese products enter Indonesia illegally or by dumping, we will certainly take firm measures (against the Chinese products)," the minister said here on Wednesday.

RI plays important role in creating Asian integration: ADB
Jakarta, (ANTARA News) - The Asian Development Bank (ADB) predicts Indonesia will play a significant role in creating Asian integration as global economic power. "So far, Indonesia has shown its important role in forming regionalism by, among other things, being one of the ASEAN founders and initiating a series of international meetings in Bali," ADB President Haruhiko Kuroda said in a seminar "Emerging Asian Regionalism Trends and Challenges" at the Borobudur Hotel here on Wednesday.
