NTB to host Indonesia-Middle East business forum

Mataram (ANTARA News) - West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) province is to host a two-day business forum between Indonesia and Middle East at Senggigi tourist resort in Lombok island on February 18-19. Provincial administration spokesman Abdul Malik said here on Monday that the RI-Mideast business forum would be attended by a least 20 investors from Indonesia and the Middle East.

Gloomy outlook seen for wood-based industries

OPEC could ditch dollars for euros: chief

London (ANTARA News) - OPEC could switch the pricing of oil from dollars into euros within a decade, secretary general Abdullah al-Badri was quoted by AFP as telling a weekly magazine. The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries could adopt the euro to combat the decline of the dollar, Badri told the Middle East Economic Digest (MEED), published in London. "Maybe we can price the oil in the euro. It can be done, but it will take time," he said.
