South Jakarta murder is a family affair JAKARTA (JP): Police are still searching for three of the four robbers suspected of having killed a disabled man at a judge's house on Jl. Poltangan, Jagakarsa, a suburb in South Jakarta. The robbery took place at around 5:30 a.m. on Sunday. One of the suspects, identified as Ade Aulia Harahap, 25, is the victim's nephew. He was captured on the spot by local residents and severely beaten.

Across the Archipelago Marsinah inspires workers' protest SEMARANG: Some 500 textile workers took inspiration from the dead labor activist Marsinah as they went on strike on Tuesday to press for a salary increase. The workers at PT Sandratex yelled "Long Live Marsinah" and unfurled banners on of which read "We're victims like Marsinah" as they staged their protest at the company's compound. Their chief demand is that they be paid at least the Rp 2,700 daily minimum wage set by the government.
