Zulkifli Hasan Receives Award for Integrating Bali-Nusra Food Supply Chain

The Coordinating Minister for Food Affairs, Zulkifli Hasan, has won the ‘Food Distribution Chain Integration Figure for Bali and Nusa Tenggara’ category at the detikBali-Nusra Awards 2026. The award was presented directly by CT Corp Chairman Chairul Tanjung and received by the Deputy for Coordination of Food and Agricultural Business, Widiastuti, representing Zulkifli Hasan.

As reported by detikBali on Friday (3/7/2026), the award ceremony took place at The Trans Resort Bali. The accolade serves as appreciation for Zulkifli Hasan’s strategic leadership in synergising production potential and consumption needs across provinces in the Bali and Nusa Tenggara region.

In his capacity as the Coordinating Minister for Food Affairs, Zulkifli is recognised for successfully bridging the ecosystems of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) and East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) with Bali. NTB and NTT serve as strategic production hubs for livestock and agricultural commodities, while Bali acts as an international tourism epicentre with high absorption capacity.

This policy orchestration has effectively broken down inter-regional distribution barriers, creating a solid and mutually supportive regional supply chain. This supply chain integration provides a crucial dual impact on the region’s economic resilience.

On one hand, price stability and the certainty of basic commodity supplies for the hospitality industry and the public in Bali are much more guaranteed without having to rely on distant sources or imports. On the other hand, this integrated ecosystem opens up certain and high-value market access for farmers and livestock breeders in NTB and NTT, ultimately strengthening regional food independence while accelerating the welfare of local producers in Nusa Tenggara.

The detikBali-Nusra Awards 2026 is an appreciation event organised by detikBali to honour figures, institutions, communities, and business actors deemed innovative and contributing significantly to the progress of Bali and the Nusa Tenggara region.
