Zulhas urges stakeholders to build Aisyiyah centre in Medan

Coordinating Minister for Food Zulkifli Hasan has invited stakeholders to contribute to the construction of an Aisyiyah dakwah building in Medan, North Sumatra. He made the appeal while attending Aisyiyah’s 109th anniversary celebration on Sunday. The building will be constructed on land already acquired by the organisation. “I invite regents, members of parliament, and various parties to donate to the construction of the Aisyiyah dakwah building,” Zulkifli said. He noted that Aisyiyah, as an autonomous organisation within Muhammadiyah, has contributed across various fields and produced many national figures. He expressed hope that the building’s construction would proceed smoothly and benefit the community. Medan Mayor Rico Tri Putra Bayu Waas stated that the Medan city government is ready to synergise with Aisyiyah because the organisation’s programmes directly engage with the public. “Aisyiyah’s spirit in Medan is extraordinary and independent,” Rico remarked. Rico expressed hope that the construction of the Aisyiyah dakwah building would soon be realised and further strengthen the organisation’s role within the community. “The Medan city government is always ready to synergise. We hope that at the age of 109, Aisyiyah will continue to progress and succeed,” Rico said.
