Zulhas Urges PAN Cadres to Focus on Helping the People During Installation of PAN West Java Leadership
Bandung, VIVA - All cadres of the National Mandate Party (PAN) in West Java have been urged to be more active in the midst of society and not just mobilise during election moments.
This was stated by PAN General Chairman Zulkifli Hasan during the installation ceremony for the West Java Regional Leadership Council (DPW) and District Leadership Councils (DPD) of the National Mandate Party (PAN) across West Java for the 2024-2029 period at the Sultan Raja Hotel and Convention Center, Soreang, Bandung Regency.
According to Zulkifli Hasan (Zulhas), PAN cadres must pay attention to societal issues, including the agricultural and fisheries sectors.
“PAN cadres must be 1,000 percent on the side of the people,” said Zulkifli Hasan, quoted on Monday, 11 May 2026.
He also assessed that West Java plays an important role in national development, especially in the food and economic sectors.
“If West Java is great, Indonesia is great. If West Java advances, Indonesia advances,” he stated.
In addition, Zulkifli Hasan encouraged PAN cadres in West Java to work more solidly in facing the 2029 Elections.
During the installation, Ahmad Najib Qodratullah was confirmed as Chairman of the PAN West Java DPW along with DPW PAN West Java Secretary Ivan Fadila and other officials.
The event was also attended by PAN General Chairman Zulkifli Hasan, PAN Secretary General Eko Patrio, West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi, PAN DPR RI Faction Chair Putri Zulkifli Hasan, PAN regional heads in West Java, as well as members of the DPR RI and DPRD from the PAN Faction.
Meanwhile, West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi assessed that Ahmad Najib Qodratullah has a close connection to the cultural values and character of West Java’s society.
“This is a figure who is very strong in terms of Sundanese aspects, even though his name is Ahmad Najib. But his commitment to Sundanese matters is extraordinary,” said Dedi.
According to Dedi, PAN’s leadership in West Java going forward is expected to align with regional development issues, including the environment and community welfare.
“He is very suitable to be Chairman of the PAN DPW, because today West Java has attention to history, humanity, and ecology,” he remarked.
