Zulhas: Salaries for Village Cooperative Managers Sourced from State Budget
The Coordinating Minister for Food Affairs, Zulkifli Hasan (Zulhas), stated that the budget for paying the salaries of managers for the Red and White Village/Sub-district Cooperatives (KDKMP) is sourced from the State Budget (APBN).
Zulkifli explained that the budget will be channelled through the state-owned enterprise (BUMN) PT Agrinas Pangan Nusantara (Persero) to facilitate the payment of income to these cooperative managers.
“It is the APBN, of course. However, the funds flow from the SOE to the managers through Agrinas Pangan,” Zulkifli said at the Presidential Palace Complex, Jakarta, on Friday.
According to the Minister, KDKMP managers will hold the status of contract employees under a Fixed-Term Employment Agreement (PKWT) for a duration of two years.
The income for these managers is expected to range between Rp6.8 million and Rp8.3 million per month, with the specific amount adjusted based on their regional placement.
“Fixed-term contract employees for two years, yes, two years. The income is between Rp6.8 million and Rp8.3 million. That is the range, depending on the region,” he added.
Regarding the possibility that the APBN funds will be distributed in the form of State Capital Injections (PMN) to Agrinas Pangan, Zulkifli confirmed this approach.
“Yes,” Zulkifli concluded.
The income for KDKMP managers ranges from Rp6.3 million to Rp8.3 million, with the amount adjusted according to their assigned areas.
This income level takes into account the specific region where the manager is stationed, including the local Regency/City Minimum Wage (UMK) of their respective area.
Zulkifli ensured that the specified range represents the total income received by the managers, encompassing both basic salary and allowances.
In addition to determining the income levels, the government has established the employment status of KDKMP managers through a Fixed-Term Employment Agreement (PKWT) scheme for two years under PT Agrinas Pangan Nusantara (Persero).
