Managers of the Merah Putih Village/Sub-district Cooperatives (Kopdes/KDKMP) are set to receive income levels corresponding to the regional minimum wage (UMK) of their assigned areas. The amounts are expected to range between Rp6.8 million and Rp8.3 million.

“How much is the income? Because the responsibility is heavy. To develop the village economy, it depends on the region. In accordance with the local UMK, it is between Rp6.8 million and Rp8.3 million. It depends on the distance of the location and so on,” stated Zulhas during a press conference in Jakarta on Tuesday (29/09/202<0xA0>26).

Furthermore, these managers will serve as Fixed-Term Contract Employees (PKWT) under PT Agrinas Pangan.

“The contract is for two years, so they will be fixed-term contract employees (PKWT) for a two-year period under PT Agrinas Pangan,” he added.

Meanwhile, the Minister of Cooperatives, Ferry Juliantono, added that the salary received by Kopdes managers already includes all components, including allowances.

“That includes both salary and allowances,” he said.
