Prospective managers for the Merah Putih Village Cooperative will undergo Reserve Component Basic Military Training. The training will be held after the announcement of the final selection results.

Coordinating Minister for Food Affairs Zulkifli Hasan stated that this stage is a continuation of the recruitment process.

“It will be followed by Reserve Component (Komcad) basic military training, as well as managerial and field competency training,” said Zulhas during a meeting at the Coordinating Ministry for Food Affairs in Jakarta on Monday (4/5/2026).

The number of registrants reached 639,732 when registration closed on 25 April. A total of 487,819 participants submitted administrative documents. 483,648 participants were declared to meet administrative requirements.

Participants are now taking competency tests based on Computer Assisted Testing from 3 to 12 May. The tests are being held at 72 locations across Indonesia.

“Civil servants and prospective civil servants all use this, using CAT. So there’s no need to doubt it because all civil servants use this system,” said Zulhas.

Participants who pass the competency test will proceed to the next selection stage. This stage includes mental tests, ideology tests, and health checks.

“It will take place from 20 to 31 May 2026,” Zulhas added.

The selected managers will have the status of employees of a State-Owned Enterprise with a fixed-term employment contract. Placement will be under PT Agrinas Pangan Nusantara.

The recruitment also covers 5,476 positions for the Merah Putih Fishing Village. The formations consist of operational managers, quality guarantors, and production heads. Each formation has 1,369 positions.
