The Chairman of PAN, Zulkifli Hasan (Zulhas), inaugurated the leaders of the Regional Leadership Council (DPW) of PAN for Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT) for the 2025-2029 period. Ahmad Yohan now officially holds the position of Chairman of the DPW PAN NTT.

The inauguration of the DPW PAN NTT leaders was held at the Undana Auditorium, Kupang, NTT, on Friday, May 15, 2026. In his speech, Ahmad Yohan expressed his gratitude for the large number of members who attended without being mobilised.

“Thank God for those who are present today, we didn’t spend a single rupiah, but everyone wanted to come because we met directly with the Chairman. There was no mobilisation,” said Yohan.

Yohan is optimistic that PAN can compete with other political parties in the upcoming General Election (Pemilu). He hopes that PAN can secure two seats in the electoral district (Dapil).

“Hopefully, the myth that PAN never gets a seat in NTT 2 Dapil will be proven wrong; we will prove that we can get a seat in NTT 2,” he added.

On this occasion, the Chairman of the PAN DPP, Zulkifli Hasan (Zulhas), explained the philosophy of the party with the sun logo. According to him, the sun never differentiates between people based on ethnicity, religion, or party.

“The sun gives perfect affection to everything, to humans, the universe, animals. That is the philosophy of the National Mandate Party. It never differentiates anyone. As long as they are building NTT, building Indonesia, let’s fight together,” said Zulhas.

Zulhas explained that the 32 rays in the PAN logo symbolise the unity of Indonesia from various ethnicities, religions, and islands. According to Zulhas, PAN emphasises the principle of serving all people without distinguishing political choices.

“The governor may be from Golkar, the mayor may be from PSI. But once they become governor, become mayor, then they are obliged to serve all the people who were elected,” he added.

Zulhas said that PAN was born from the spirit of reform to correct and continue the ideals of an independent Indonesia. The foundation of the party, he continued, is Pancasila with the main values of nationalism and religiosity.

“Our policy programs cannot be compromised; they must defend the people. We formulate them in the form of helping the people,” he concluded.
