Zulhas: First Instalment for KDKMP Loans to Himbara Due in September
Coordinating Minister for Food Zulkifli Hasan has stated that the first instalment of financing for the Merah Putih Village/Sub-district Cooperatives (KDKMP) from PT Agrinas Pangan Nusantara to the Association of State-Owned Banks (Himbara) is due in September 2026. ‘The first instalment will be due in September, for the loan from Agrinas Pangan to Himbara,’ Zulhas said after a limited meeting led by President Prabowo Subianto at the Presidential Palace complex in Jakarta on Thursday. He noted that all verification and validation processes must be completed before the payment can be made. Once finalised, Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa will process the payment to Himbara. ‘After the validation and verification are submitted to the BPKP, the Finance Minister can then transfer the funds to Himbara. The due date is September,’ he said. According to Zulkifli, the government is working diligently to complete all administrative requirements by August so that the first instalment can be paid before the September deadline. The KDKMP programme is supported by a total loan of Rp240 trillion from Himbara, with a ceiling of Rp3 billion per cooperative. The initiative also involves the TNI and Polri to help ensure optimal implementation across various regions. President Prabowo has designated the Merah Putih Cooperatives as the central distribution point for all government programmes, including subsidised goods and government assistance, to ensure integrated and targeted distribution.
