Zulhas Chairs Coordination Meeting on Free Nutritious Meals, Cak Imin and Nanik S Deyang Attend

Coordinating Minister for Food Zulkifli Hasan, also known as Zulhas, convened a coordination meeting to discuss the free nutritious meal programme at the Coordinating Ministry for Food building on Jalan Imam Bonjol, Central Jakarta, on Thursday. The meeting began at 10.28 a.m. Western Indonesian Time and was held behind closed doors, focusing on the quality of MBG menus and Nutritional Fulfilment Service Units. Zulkifli Hasan chaired the meeting. Also in attendance were Coordinating Minister for Community Empowerment Muhaimin Iskandar, Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, and the new Head of the National Nutrition Agency Nanik S Deyang. Several other ministers were also present, including Minister of Population and Family Development Wihaji, Deputy Minister of Health Benjamin Paulus, Minister of Primary and Secondary Education Abdul Mu’ti, Head of the Government Communication Agency Muhammad Qodari, Minister of Religious Affairs Nasaruddin Umar, Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform Rini Widyantini, and Presidential Chief of Staff Dudung Abdurachman. Nanik attended for the first time as Head of the National Nutrition Agency following her inauguration alongside her deputies Trenggono and Agustina Arumsari by President Prabowo Subianto on Monday. This new leadership replaces Dadan Hindayana and two former deputy heads, Sony Sonjaya and Lodewyk Pusung, who have been detained by the Attorney General’s Office. The three were detained after being named suspects in an alleged corruption case related to the governance of the free nutritious meal programme.
