Zulhas Attends PAN Faction's Iftar Gathering at the DPR Building, to Deliver Guidance to Members

PAN Chairman Zulkifli Hasan (Zulhas) visited the DPR RI building in Jakarta this afternoon. Zulhas stated that his visit was to attend an iftar gathering with the PAN faction and to provide guidance to its members.

As observed by detikcom at the location on Thursday (26/2/2026), Zulhas arrived at approximately 4:50 PM. Zulhas was greeted by PAN Deputy Chairman and Deputy Speaker of the MPR, Eddy Soeparno, PAN faction leader Putri Zulhas, and PAN Secretary-General Eko Patrio.

“(We are here to) break fast together with the faction and provide guidance so that during this holy month of Ramadan, the faction continues to share (its blessings),” said Zulhas.

“One of the goals of fasting is social piety, and to continue sharing,” he added.

In his address, Zulhas asked the PAN faction members of the DPR to pay more attention to their respective constituencies. In particular, he said, they should focus on helping those in need leading up to Eid al-Fitr.

“These members have their constituencies, their regions, so they should pay attention. So that during this holy month, and especially during Eid, there are no brothers and sisters who do not have new clothes, who are not happy during Eid,” he said.

In addition, Zulhas also emphasized the importance of internal party solidarity. According to him, as one team, all cadres and factions must be in line with party policies.

“The party is one team, so therefore the steps, decisions, and opinions must be the same, in line with what the party’s policies are,” he said.

“I am here because we are one team, one big coalition,” he added.
