Zulhas Asserts PAN Will Remain Aligned with Prabowo

The Chairman of the National Mandate Party (PAN), Zulkifli Hasan, also known as Zulhas, has asserted that PAN will continue to support and stand alongside President Prabowo Subianto in governing the nation.

Hasan made this statement during his keynote address at the peak of PAN’s 28th anniversary celebrations, held at the Jakarta Convention Centre, Central Jakarta, on Friday (18/09/2026).

“PAN will continue to be with the President. Do you agree? PAN will continue to be with the President,” said Zulhas during his speech.

Zulhas stated that this stance is based on the shared political aspirations between PAN and Prabowo. He noted that PAN’s greatest loyalty lies with the ideals of the Republic of Indonesia, specifically those enshrined in Articles 33 and 34 of the 1945 Constitution.

“Because we share the same struggle for our ideals. Our greatest loyalty is to the ideals of the Republic of Indonesia, specifically Articles 33 and 34,” he remarked.

On this occasion, Zulhas also used the metaphor of the sun—the symbol of PAN—as a light that illuminates all parties without discrimination.

“The sun never asks who chose it before providing light. It does not choose ethnicity, religion, group, or party. The sun illuminates everything. That is how the National Mandate Party operates,” Zulhas said.

He also called upon PAN cadres and the party’s extended family to pray for Prabowo, asking for his continued protection and health in performing his duties as President.

“We pray to Allah SWT, may President Prabowo always receive protection from Allah SWT. May he be granted complete health, patience, and sincerity,” he added.

He expressed his hope that Prabowo would continue his leadership and the vision of the nation’s founders to realise an Indonesia that is just, prosperous, wealthy, strong, and sovereign.
