ZTE Corporation, a leading global provider of integrated information and communication technology (ICT) solutions, participated in MWC Barcelona 2026 from 2-5 March under the theme ‘Creating an Intelligent Future’. Based on its ‘All in AI, AI for All’ strategy, ZTE showcased the latest achievements of its current strategy, namely ‘Connectivity + Computing’, and collaborated with global partners to build an open, secure, and inclusive digital future. ZTE’s booth was located at 3F30, Hall 3, Fira Gran Via, where it presented a range of advanced solutions and products highlighting AI-enabled connectivity, efficient and low-carbon intelligent computing infrastructure, and innovative smart home and personal devices.

Comprehensive AI Portfolio Across Four Core Domains

At this year’s exhibition, ZTE emphasised the deep integration of AI and ICT across four core areas: AI Agentic Connectivity, AI Cloud, AI Home, and Smart Personal Devices, spanning the entire value chain—from infrastructure to applications, and from architectural design to commercial deployment. ZTE offered a framework for digital intelligence solutions across various scenarios.

For AI Agentic Connectivity, particularly mobile networks, ZTE leveraged an AI-native architecture to drive sustainable product and solution innovations. The aim is to build ultra-efficient infrastructure, pioneer autonomous network L4 paradigms, and open new monetisation opportunities for Connectivity+AI. In the optical network, ZTE collaborates with operators through three evolutionary stages: fiberisation, all-optical networks, and AI-driven optical networks to accelerate progress and business success. This approach begins with cost-optimised deployment (TCO) to speed up fibre deployment. In the all-optical stage, focus is on higher speed, user experience, and service monetisation to raise ARPU. Subsequently, AI-based optical networks provide ultra-broadband, ultra-sensing, and ultra-intelligent foundations to drive increased commercial value. In addition, the HI-NET solution combines advanced technologies such as C+L full-band integrated 1.6Tbps and integrated AI computing capabilities to build a high-performance, intelligent network foundation for the AI-driven connectivity era. For campus networks, ZTE launched innovative products, including the industry’s first 5-in-1 50G PON service gateway and a company-standard FTTR gateway that combines optical connectivity, video security, computing, and data storage. These innovations help operators transform from mere fibre providers into integrated smart networks while expanding penetration into the enterprise market. To support operational and maintenance (O&M) of complex, value-driven networks, ZTE introduced the AIR Net autonomous network solution, TM Forum certified. Designed with a layered, open smart architecture, this agent-based autonomous network helps operators cut operational expenses (OpEx) while increasing revenue. ZTE has partnered with several operators to deploy high-level autonomous networks with significant results.

AI Cloud is a primary focus at ZTE’s booth as the foundation for digital intelligence. For data centres, the Elastic AIDC solution meets high efficiency needs while offering flexibility. Its modular design supports rapid deployment and reduces development time by up to 40% compared to conventional solutions. With cooling technologies including cold-plate, immersion cooling, and 800V HVDC systems, overall energy efficiency improves by up to 25%. In addition, high-voltage lithium-ion batteries enhance power efficiency and operational safety. In terms of computing infrastructure, ZTE leverages its strength in integrated design of computing and networking, and hardware-software co-design. This approach enables the construction of intelligent computing infrastructure for various scenarios with optimal Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). To support digital transformation in enterprises, ZTE introduced Co-Claw, an enterprise-grade AI agent that is secure and fully integrated. This solution supports workflows from office work and R&D to operations, thereby enhancing overall corporate efficiency. Supporting sustainable development, ZTE also deploys a range of digital and intelligent applications in education and health services, pursuing inclusive AI benefits. Beyond infrastructure, ZTE is building a cutting-edge computing ecosystem with a range of applications. With business operations spanning more than 160 countries and regions, ZTE brings extensive global experience, local service expertise, and robust implementation capabilities. With these strengths, ZTE is committed to building a globally developing computing ecosystem and achieving shared success with partners and customers.

In the AI Home domain, ZTE maintains leadership in the smart home terminal market with annual unit sales exceeding 100 million units. ZTE also ranks first globally in the sales of CPE and IP STB, and
